From a Dream, a Love Story, and a Leap of Faith
To your new favorite coffee spot in Port Ludlow. This is the story of Ground to Perfection, TOO — and the family who built it with heart.
Meet Krazy Koffee Kelli
Founder. Barista. Baker. Community Cheerleader. Mom.
Some people find their calling. Kelli Sullivan had hers handed to her by the man she loved. In the mid-90s, she walked away from a successful career as a Senior Manufacturing Specialist in the biotech industry — a role she'd held since 1985 — to chase something that felt more like home. Her soon-to-be husband Dave, known to everyone as Odie, asked her a question she'd never forget: "Can you see yourself doing this for another 20 years?"
She couldn't. And just like that, everything changed. On February 10, 1998, Ground to Perfection was born in Port Townsend — sparked by a classified ad in the Port Townsend Leader and a single phone call. Dave passed away, but his fingerprints are on every cup we serve. His love, vision, and belief in Kelli made all of this possible. We carry him with us every single day. 🤍
Port Ludlow — A Dream Worth Saying Yes To
Over 27 years into this journey, Kelli is still going — and still growing. When the opportunity in Port Ludlow came calling, it felt like the right place at exactly the right time. True to form, Kelli didn't hesitate.
Ground to Perfection, TOO is something a little different. This is a place where you can actually sit down, slow down, and stay a while. Pull up a chair near the window. Wrap your hands around something warm. Let the marina air do its thing. This isn't grab-and-go — this is your cozy corner of the Olympic Peninsula, and we built it just for you.

Meet Madison — Kelli's daughter, and the behind-the-scenes powerhouse who keeps everything running smoothly. Social media, marketing, HR, onboarding, and back-office operations — Madison grew up in this business and never really left. She handles everything off the espresso machine so Kelli can do what she does best: connect with people, craft incredible drinks, and bake things that make you close your eyes on the first bite.

And the legacy doesn't stop there. Madison's own children are already eager to help out — proving that what Odie and Kelli started in 1998 is something truly worth passing down.
We're loud. We laugh. We talk about everything. And we treat every single person who walks through our door like family — because that's just who we are. Taste your drink before you leave. If it's not perfect, we'll make it again — no questions asked. That's not just a policy. That's a promise from Kelli herself.
